adaptive cruise control
Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is the other pillar of Level 2 ADAS — the system that automatically adjusts a vehicle's speed to maintain a safe following distance from the car ahead. While many reviewers describe ACC performance in vague terms, moblr has developed a measured, repeatable freeway test that records how smoothly and accurately each system handles real traffic. Click the video for a look at the test setup and the road section we use. The scores below reflect the consistency of each system's speed control and gap management; a higher score means steadier, more predictable behavior in normal flowing traffic. More detailed methodology and analysis will follow here soon.
